For analytical people this is maybe not the book you are looking for. No scene-by-scene framework of what your outline should look like.

What it is. . .

This is a more about an organic development of an outline, as you flesh out your characters (and some other elements). Also, it presents a good argument for discovery writers to give it up and convert to outlining. . .regardless of how resistant you are to the idea.

Either way, it’s not the end-all-be-all to outlining, but a better than average book to add to one’s writing library.
